All Manufacturing Engineering is performed
by Flexible Metal engineers including tool
and fixture design, equipment selection,
production cell layout and equipment
integration. The process begins at the
inception of the program and continues
throughout the life of the project as
continuous product improvement.
TIG Fusion Welding of High Nickel Alloy

Flexible Metal Inc. has manufacturing
locations in Tucker, Georgia (Atlanta)
and Hamburg, Michigan (Ann Arbor) with
a total production area of 160,000 square
feet. Both locations are fully equipped
for tube cutting, bending, forming and
sizing, TIG and MIG welding, cleaning
and testing. Tucker has the additional
capability of metal bellows forming,
resistance welding and induction brazing.
Their tube bending capability is through
eight inches diameter. Hamburg has
additional capability of press forming,
laser cutting, robotic material
handling and welding, and complete
tool and die fabrication.
Both locations utilize dedicated cell
manufacturing for high volume
production, and functional flexible cells
for low volume production and service
part fabrication.
